Stadion FK Baník Sokolov

Before it was Baník, this ground belonged to a German club, NSTG Falkenau. Sokolov's own club only arrived after 1948, taking over an arena someone else had already shaped.

That prewar capacity has held remarkably steady. The record crowd, also 5,000, came in 1951 for a cup tie between the home side and Slavia Karlovy Vary.

Two rebuilds since, in 2008 and 2014, brought the facility up to date without inflating the numbers: split between a modest seated block and open standing areas that still make up the bulk of the ground. A sizeable administration building has since gone up opposite the main stand.

There is no naming-rights deal here — it is simply Stadion FK Baník Sokolov, on Boženy Němcové in the town it serves.
