Štadión FTC Fiľakovo

The ground sits on Biskupická street in the town of Fiľakovo. The club, FTC Fiľakovo, traces its lineage to 1908 as Füleki Haladás ATC. The stadium itself, Štadión FTC Fiľakovo, is a modest facility that has seen significant changes in recent years.

The most notable feature is the grandstand, which one source places at 2005, standing until the current renovation cycle began. That work, managed by the local public utility company VPS Fiľakovo, concluded around 2024. The project focused inward, upgrading locker rooms and offices rather than expanding the footprint. A new digital irrigation system was also installed, ensuring the natural grass surface remains playable through the damp Slovak winters.

On the pitch, the team has competed in the Third Liga and the Slovnaft Cup. A notable gathering of 900 spectators watched a cup tie against FC Košice in 2021. The stadium lacks an online presence, keeping its operations local and quiet. It is not a place where history is loudly proclaimed; it is simply where the team plays, under the same sky that watched the club’s numerous name changes.
