Štadión MFK Nová Baňa

Štadión MFK Nová Baňa sits in the Banskobystrický kraj, a town where the football club traces its roots back to 1912. The ground opened in 1968, after construction began two years prior. For decades it was a place of natural grass, but in October 2023 the surface changed. A unique 4th-generation pitch without infill granules was laid down, costing 240,000 EUR, alongside new floodlights.

The capacity is a matter of interpretation. Some sources say 1,000 active seats, others claim 3,000 total. The record attendance belongs to 1987, during the club’s 75th anniversary match against DAC Dunajská Streda, when 3,000 spectators turned up.

There is no running track around the pitch. The venue is managed by the Technical Services of the City of Nová Baňa. It has hosted Slovak Cup matches against higher-league teams like FK Senica, and a centenary friendly in 2012 against FC ViOn Zlaté Moravce. The opening match in 1969 ended 1:1 against AC Nitra, with 1,500 watching.

The address is Dlhá lúka 711/14. The club has had many names over the years, such as TJ Skláreň, but the stadium itself has never been renamed.
