Stadion Polonii Bytom

The ground on ul. Piłkarska is one Polonia Bytom moved to rather than one it grew into. The club's old home stood on ul. Olimpijska, opened in 1929 under the name Hindenburg-Kampfbahn and later carrying the name of Edward Szymkowiak. On 6 August 1965 it held 60,000 people for an Intertoto tie against Schalke 04, which Polonia won 6-0. That stadium has since been pulled down, and its covered stand was dismantled and sold for scrap.

What replaced it is built in stages. The first phase ran through 2022 and 2023, with Tamex Obiekty Sportowe SA as general contractor and Bartosz Michalski of ABM – Anna i Bartosz Michalscy s.c. as architect. Synthetic turf went down in October 2022, and the ground opened officially on 2 September 2023 with the east stand — roughly 1,100 seats — in use. The west stand, planned as the main stand in reinforced concrete, belongs to the second phase and is expected in 2026; it will add around 1,200 places, taking the ground to 2,300 seats with a separate away section.

Until then supporters sit in the open. Alongside the pitch stands a new clubhouse of 3,200 square metres, holding changing rooms, a training hall and club offices. The two phases together account for 56.5 million złoty — 30.478 million for the first, 26 million for the second.
