Most training grounds stay training grounds. This one at Oirschotsedijk has been built up in stages until it became a second ground for ПСВ.
The complex dates from 1952, but the shape it holds now was set by the 2018–2019 rebuild, which cost around €7m. That work replaced the artificial surface on the main pitch with grass, rebuilt the training and medical rooms, and added facilities for the women's side. Before that, the only substantial change had been the covered main stand of 2002.
It was Stadion De Herdgang from 1952 until 2019, then PSV Campus De Herdgang, and since the ceremonial reopening in December 2025 it has carried a sponsor's name: TenCate Stadion De Herdgang.
What it hosts is not only football, and not only ПСВ's own. The 1969 Кубок Европы korfball final was played here, which is the sort of fixture a club training ground rarely gets.
