The Hollingsworth Group Stadium

The pitch opened in 1946, the same year Vickers-Armstrong workers formed the team that later became Airbus UK Broughton FC .

Long after sponsorship renamed it The Hollingsworth Group Stadium in 2012, regulars kept calling it The Airfield . The ground sits close enough to Hawarden Airport's runway that retractable floodlights had to go in when a new stand was built in 2004.

The 2004 stand brought a pavilion and dressing rooms as the club stepped up into the Welsh Premier League, and a further grant of £65,200 from Welsh Grounds Improvements added a 160-seat stand in 2013. A year later, in 2014, the club replaced its natural turf with a 3G surface at a cost of around £500,000.
