Stadium
Ugljevik City Stadium
Ugljevik, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Formerly: Novi Gradski stadion
Ugljevik City Stadium has a history shaped by the conflict in the region. Construction began in 2000 but was halted by the war, leaving the field a patch of mud and expectation for years. It finally opened on 27 September 2001, hosting a friendly between FK Rudar Ugljevik and the Republika Srpska national side. Making it the first ground in Bosnia and Herzegovina to secure a UEFA license for international matches.
The atmosphere is defined by proximity. The surface is natural grass.
The stadium does not host the crowds of the big cities, and there is no record of a significant attendance figure.
