Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium
Yerevan, Armenia
Formerly: Dinamo, Republican
The stadium on Vardanants Street has carried three names since Hovhannes Margaryan first designed it in the early 1930s — Dinamo, then simply Republican, and since 1999 the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium. A further rebuild in 2008 brought capacity down to its current 14,403.
Armenia's national team have filled it beyond its official limits at least once: 16,000 people packed in on 11 October 2003 to watch the side go down 0–4 to Spain in Euro 2004 qualifying, still the ground's recorded attendance peak.
The stadium's reach beyond football surfaced in the summer of 2025, when Jennifer Lopez performed there on 3 August and drew more than 30,000 spectators — over twice the ground's seated capacity.
