The ground sits apart from the main stadium. It is a working stadium rather than a training pitch, built for the second team and the women’s side of the club.
The seating is split between a small covered stand on the west side and the open terraces that run along the three other sides. The capacity is 5,500. The floodlight masts that tower over the pitch were installed in 2008, a renovation that coincided with the second team’s promotion to the 3. Liga.
The pitch itself is natural grass. The address is Franz-Böhmert-Straße 8, a location that has served the club since the early twentieth century, though the current structure is much newer.
The highest recorded attendance matches the full capacity, a figure that has not been surpassed since the 2008 upgrades.
