The pitch itself is natural grass, marked with white lines that have faded slightly at the corners.

The site was purchased by Staines Town in 1951, and while the club has since dissolved, the ground remains in use for the London Premier League. The current main stand, however, is a product of a major redevelopment completed in 2003, which cost £6.5 million and replaced older terracing. That era saw the club’s biggest crowds, including a record 2,860 for an FA Cup replay against Stockport County. Before that, the stadium hosted Chelsea Ladies in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, where they drew Glasgow City in front of a decent turnout.

The capacity is often cited as 3,009, though some sources list 3,002. There are 300 seats and 800 on covered terracing.

Since Brentford FC’s reserves began using the ground in 2023, the stadium has found a new purpose.
