Yusuf Ziya Öniş Stadyumu
Istanbul, Turkey
At 4,100 seats it is one of the smallest venues in Turkish professional football to have survived this long without a full rebuild, which has meant a series of smaller interventions rather than one grand reconstruction. The north stand got a roof in 2005; the main stand was partly redone in 2009; in 2023 the club adapted the ground for evening fixtures and rebuilt the roof structure again; lighting and seating were refreshed as recently as 2025. That pattern — patch, cover, replace, repeat — says something about a club that has kept the same home for close to four decades without the budget or the ambition to start from scratch.
The pitch remains natural grass throughout, unremarkable in itself but consistent with a ground that has resisted the artificial-turf shortcuts many similarly sized Turkish venues adopted over the years.
