Manila Diggers beat Stallion 3-0 in the PFL group stage on Saturday. The visitors took control from the opening exchanges and never looked back. It was another routine performance for the league leaders at home.

The breakthrough came early when R. Llamas bundled the ball into his own net in the tenth minute. To be fair, Stallion had their chances but couldn't find the second goal. R. Andes doubled the lead just before half-time with a crisp finish in the twenty-ninth minute.

Andes added his second before the interval in the forty-second minute. By then, Stallion were chasing shadows and the game was effectively over. The visitors could have had more but missed a penalty in the fifty-sixth minute. Another goal came in the sixty-ninth minute to seal the victory.

The statistics tell the full story. Manila Diggers dominated possession at 71 per cent and registered 91 attacks compared to 65 for the hosts. There were only ten corners between them and a single red card for Stallion in extra time.
