Vacaeros beat the Lions 13-3 in the NFL regular-season on October 11, 2026. By then, the hosts had already lost to the visitors earlier in the month, 17-20, so this result turned things around. The final score reflected a defensive battle rather than an offensive showcase.
The visitors had been scoring freely in recent weeks, including a 52-21 win over the Demons and a 38-35 victory against the Hawkers. Vacaeros, meanwhile, had mixed results — a loss to the Lions, a win over the Cowboys, and another match against the same opposition. The difference in approach showed through in the numbers.
Without detailed minute-by-minute events, the picture is one of controlled football. Thirteen points for the hosts, three for the guests — a narrow margin that suggests both sides found something to work with, but neither could break free completely. To be fair, the Lions had been camped in the final third in previous games, but here they found a wall.
The result means the Vacaeros take a step back into form after that earlier defeat. The Lions, who had been running out of games in their high-scoring streak, now face a different challenge. The gap between them, if any, remains to be seen in the table.
