Fulham came to the London Stadium and left with three points, beating West Ham 2:3 in the Round of 32 of the League Cup on Tuesday evening. The visitors moved ahead in the opening minutes and held their nerve after the hosts equalised before half-time. And here's the thing — it was never really in doubt once Fulham turned it on in the second period.

Rodrigo Muniz opened the scoring in the thirteenth minute, then Felipe Morato responded for West Ham three minutes later. Cesar Palacios Perez restored the visitors' lead in the thirty-seventh and Pablo Felipe Pereira de Jesus forced extra time with a goal in the forty-fifth minute. By then the game had turned into something else entirely.

Fulham made their move in the seventy-eighth minute when Oscar Bobb snatched it at the death. The hosts pushed for an equaliser but could not find a way through. Emile Smith Rowe was shown a yellow card in the sixty-eighth minute for a challenge that went to review.
