Head coach Clint Cubiak picked the 38-year-old veteran over rookie Fernando Mendoza to start Las Vegas' opener against Miami on 13 September.
Kirk Cousins will start at quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders in the opener against the Miami Dolphins on 3 September. Head coach Clint Cubiak made the call, with Fernando Mendoza, the first overall pick in the 2026 draft, will back him up.
