Amine Hemia

Amine Hemia's route into professional football ran through the amateur leagues. Released by Angers' academy in 2016 without a contract, he spent five seasons at Avoine OCC in National 3, scoring around 15 goals in 54 appearances, before a free transfer to C'Chartres in National 2, where he struck 12 or 13 goals in a single season under coach Jean-Pierre Papin.

The breakthrough came at FC Martigues. Hemia joined the club on a free transfer in July 2022 and was a key figure in their promotion to Ligue 2, scoring 16 or 17 goals across 55 to 57 appearances in the Championnat National and Ligue 2 between 2022 and 2024. That form earned him the UNFP National Player of the Month award in November 2022, a nomination for the UNFP Ligue 2 Player of the Month in September 2024, and a place among the contenders for the Just Fontaine Trophy for the best goal of the 2024-25 Ligue 2 season.

In July 2024 he signed a three-year contract with En Avant Guingamp, again on a free transfer, and has continued to contribute goals from midfield, with figures in the region of 9 to 13 across all competitions. Born in Saumur to an Algerian family, he holds dual French and Algerian citizenship but has not yet made a senior international appearance for either country. At Guingamp, playing as an attacking midfielder, he wears the number 10 shirt.
