Antonio Sánchez Navarro

Antonio Sánchez Navarro came through Mallorca's academy before spending three seasons out on loan, gathering minutes across three different Spanish tiers. The path took him first to UD Poblense in 2016–17, where he made 25 appearances and scored three goals, then to Mallorca B for a full campaign, and later to Barakaldo CF, where he was a near-ever-present across 38 matches.

The most productive stretch of that apprenticeship came at CD Mirandés in 2019–20, when Sánchez made 40 appearances and scored four goals. His professional debut came there, on 8 September 2019 against Real Oviedo, and he added his first professional goal that December. The following season, still with Mirandés, he helped the club finish second in Segunda División and reach La Liga.

Sánchez returned to Mallorca's first team in 2020, arriving with the experience of a promotion campaign already behind him rather than as a newcomer straight from the academy benches. A central midfielder by trade, he built his early career on the kind of steady accumulation of appearances — 25, then 38, then 40 in a single season — that clubs use to judge whether a loan spell has done its job.
