D. Ahmeti

On 4 April 2024, Dukan Ahmeti came on in a Croatian top-flight match at 16 years, 10 months and 19 days old — the youngest player in the history of the HNL. That single appearance was his entire league record for the 2023/24 season: no goals, no assists.

Ahmeti was born in Pula and came through the Istra 1961 system. His development also took in the IBAIA-ISTRA programme, which involved training at the academy of the Spanish club Deportivo Alavés. In January 2024, months before the debut, he signed a long-term scholarship contract with Istra.

What followed was not a loan in the usual sense. On 12 August 2024, Istra 1961 and NK Uljanik agreed a dual registration, allowing Ahmeti to play in Croatia's second tier while remaining registered with his parent club. The competitive minutes were sparse: one appearance for Uljanik in 2024/25, two more in 2025/26.

The senior breakthrough came later. In 2025/26 he played 13 matches for Istra 1961's first team and registered one assist, taking his total for the senior side to 14 games. He is listed as an attacking midfielder and right winger; his stronger foot is not recorded in public sources.

Internationally, Ahmeti has been called up by Croatia at under-17 level, making his youth international debut in 2023 and scoring for the country's junior sides. He has not been called into the senior national team. He has won no club trophies with Istra, who took no significant titles during his time there, and no individual awards.
