E. Clavre

Ethan Clavreul is a graduate of Laval's own academy, having joined the club at the age of nine and worked his way up through the U15, U17 and U19 sides before spending the 2024–2025 season with the reserve team. He signed his first professional contract on 19 August 2025, a deal running to 2029, and his rise to the first team came without any transfer fee changing hands.

His senior debut could hardly have gone better. Sent on as a substitute against AS Saint-Étienne in Ligue 2, he scored in the 87th minute to make it 3–3. He followed that up in September by scoring his first career brace, in a 2–1 win over Boulogne.

Clavreul operates as an attacking midfielder, though he has also been used off the left. Right-footed, he has become a regular part of Laval's midfield rotation, and by the end of his debut season had built up 26 league appearances with five goals, adding a further appearance and goal in the Coupe de France.

He has not yet been called into any French youth national team.
