About the player
Godwin Udosen's path to Europe ran through two Nigerian academies before Dinamo București ever saw him play. He came up at the Blessed Stars Football Academy in Uyo, where he put pen to paper on his first professional contract in August 2024.
Dinamo did not throw him straight into their own first team. Instead, as part of a partnership between the two clubs, the midfielder was loaned out immediately to newly promoted Liga 2 side CS Afumați for the whole of the 2024–25 season.
It was only towards the end of the 2024–25 season that he was promoted to the first-team group.
