About the player
Lucas Bernadou came through the Paris Saint-Germain academy, playing for the club's U19 side and then PSG B in Championnat National 2 before the reserve competition was dissolved in 2019. A senior contract at Parc des Princes never materialised, and in July 2020 he left on a free transfer for FC Emmen in the Netherlands, signing a two-year deal.
Across four seasons he made 112 league appearances for the club, moving between the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie, and scored four goals from central midfield. The high point came in 2021–22, when Emmen won the Eerste Divisie title and went up to the Dutch top flight — a promotion Bernadou helped secure.
In August 2024 he took his career in a different direction, joining Greek Super League side Volos NFC as a free agent. His first season there brought 18 league appearances and three in the Greek Cup. The Volos contract ran out in January 2026, and on 19 January he signed for Grenoble Foot 38 on a free transfer.
At Grenoble he has settled into the number 8 shirt and a role built around defensive work in midfield, passing accuracy and strength in the air. In the 2025–26 season he has made 15 Ligue 2 appearances, scoring once and setting up another goal.
