About the player
Oliwia Katowicz plays as a midfielder for Czarni Sosnowiec in the Ekstraliga Kobiet, wearing the number 84 shirt. Born in Wołomin, she started out at Huragan Wołomin before moving to MUKS Praga Warszawa, a club where she progressed through the youth ranks and then broke into the senior side. That path through the Warsaw club's system set her up for a run of moves across the Polish women's game, taking in Ząbkovia Ząbki and Pogoń Tczew before she joined Czarni Sosnowiec in 2024, turning out for the reserve side, Czarni II Sosnowiec, in the same year. In July 2025 she extended her contract with the club.
She joined the club after its most recent championship and cup successes, so she has yet to add a domestic title of her own at senior level with Czarni, a side with a strong history in Polish women's football.
Her development has also been marked at international youth level. Katowicz was capped 15 times for Poland's under-19 side between 2021 and 2023, scoring twice, and featured in qualifiers for the UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship. She went on to add three caps for the Polish under-23 team in the 2023/2024 season.
