About the player
Born in Dakar, he came through the Senegalese academies of EF Kalèle and AF Darou Salam before signing his first professional contract with Çaykur Rizespor in Turkey in August 2023. That move brought only three Süper Lig appearances, cut short by a complicated injury that limited his time at the club.
The rebuild came in Northern Cyprus. Moving to Gençlik Gücü TSK on a free transfer in September 2024, Diouf scored 19 goals in 28 appearances in the 2024–25 season, numbers that put him back on clubs' radar. RFC Liège signed him as a free agent in August 2025, and he kept the scoring rate up in the Challenger Pro League, with 8 goals in 18 league appearances in the first half of that season. The fee reportedly around €900,000 that took him to Sint-Truiden in January 2026 was described as a record sale for Liège. At STVV he has made 16 appearances with 3 goals this season.
Internationally, Diouf's story runs through Senegal's youth sides. He won the WAFU U-20 Tournament in 2019 and was part of the squad at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina, playing against Israel and Colombia, and he also represented Senegal at the 2023 African Games.
