About the player
Tobias Kvalvågnes Guddal stands 201 centimetres tall. Born in Sveio, he started out with Sveio and SK Djerv 1919, making his professional debut with the latter club in 2019 and scoring once in nine league appearances before his time there ended in 2021.
Back at Bryne, he added 33 league appearances and a goal across his time at the club.
The step up came in March 2024, when Tromsø IL signed him on a four-and-a-half-year contract for a fee reported between €300,000 and €350,000, with Bryne holding a sell-on clause. He went on to make 70 league appearances for Tromsø, scoring once, before a further move to AC Sparta Prague in July 2026, a transfer confirmed at around €4.5 million with add-ons that could push the total to €5.5 million.
On the international stage, Guddal made his Norway under-21 debut in March 2024 in a friendly win over the Netherlands, going on to earn four caps and featuring in Under-21 Championship qualifiers in 2025. He was called into the senior Norway squad for a friendly against Finland in September 2025, though he has yet to win a senior cap.
