Adana 1954 FK

İshak Kurt finished the 2023–24 season with 22 goals, top scorer in the whole of the TFF 3. Lig, before Karşıyaka came in for him — a departure that summed up what Adana 01 FK had become in less than a decade.

It started in 2016 as Adana Ülkügücü. In 2021 it took the name Adana 1954 FK, borrowed from the founding year of Adanaspor, the city's old club — a gesture rather than a claim, since president Menderes Kutlu supports Adanaspor's colours and the two sides get on rather than compete. Red and white were worn through that period. In January 2024 came another change: the club became Adana 01 FK, took the province's number as its name and swapped the shirt for yellow and black.

That same season brought the club's first title, the TFF 3. Lig Group 4 championship, and promotion to the 2. Lig. None of the grounds in Adana were licensed for the division except the Yeni Adana Stadyumu, which is kept for the city's bigger clubs, so the team played its home matches over in Tarsus. The title itself was celebrated back in Adana, at the Yeni Adana Stadyumu, once the season was done. Home games otherwise go to the Ali Hoşfikirer Stadı in Yüreğir, a ground that holds 2,544.
