Al Hamriyah

Al Hamriyah sits on the Gulf coast north of Sharjah city. Al Hamriyah Sports Club came into being in October 1984 under Decision No. 166 of 1987, and was re-registered in 1993.

The club has stayed in the UAE Division One, the second tier of Emirati football, since joining for the 2008–09 season. Its best return there came in 2021–22, when it finished fifth. No major honours sit alongside that record.

Goalkeeper Majed Naser, a veteran of the UAE national side, joined the club in 2025. Fellow international Abdulla Al-Hamadi has also worn the club's white and maroon.

Football is not the only sport carried under the Al Hamriyah name: the club fields sailing and rowing programmes too, with sailors such as Adel Khaled and Hamad Al Matrooshi competing for it on the water rather than the pitch.

Matches are played at the Al Hamriya Sports Club Stadium, known locally simply as Al Hamriyah Stadium, in front of a ground that holds 5,000.
