Sungui Arena Park went up for the 2014 Asian Games and opened in March 2012. The ground holds 20 891. The club calls it Incheon Football Stadium.
That beginning was late 2003, when the club was registered as Incheon FC; the founding ceremony followed on 1 March 2004.
What the club became known for instead was staying up.
Incheon won K League 2 outright and went straight back up, taking every individual award in the division on the way: Jerso Fernandes as most valuable player, Stefan Mugoša top scorer with 20 goals, Yoon Jung-hwan coach of the year, Park Seung-ho best young player. Mugoša had already led the scoring charts a tier higher, with 21 goals in K League 1 in 2024.
