İnkılapspor step into the TFF 3. Lig for the first time this season, arriving from the amateur ranks of Istanbul with the kind of promotion that reshapes a small club's ambitions overnight. Getting there took a penalty shootout: 1-1 after extra time against Küçükçekmecespor on 29 May 2025, won 4-3 from the spot after topping the BAL's 10th Group.

The club's own paperwork is more tangled than its results. It was set up in 2018 as Leventspor, while a separate outfit carried the İnkılapspor name after absorbing the licence and history of İstanbul Kayaşehirspor, a club dating back to 2012. In 2023 the two swapped identities: the 2018 side took on the İnkılapspor name, and the other reverted to Leventspor. What plays in the TFF 3. Lig now is the Leventspor lineage, wearing blue and white under a name that only became its own three years ago.

Matches are played at Paşabahçe Stadyumu in Beykoz, a 3,000-capacity ground split between 1,000 seats and standing room for the rest, some way from Ümraniye, the district the club is nominally attached to. In the amateur leagues, the fixture that mattered was against Sarıyer Yeni Mahalle, billed locally as the İstanbul Derbisi.

Şenol Demir has been the man overseeing the football side as Technical Director through the climb out of the regional leagues, working under president Fatih Aysel. Whatever comes of the first season in the TFF 3. Lig, it is Demir's group that took İnkılapspor there.
