The senior club, founded on 30 May 1920, is the reason the youth sides exist at all — and the reason the under-19s train with a first-team stadium in view.

That stadium is Stadion Miejski, known commercially as Chorten Arena.

The under-19 team joined the Central Youth League — the Centralna Liga Juniorów — when the competition took its current shape in 2017/18. The academy has kept producing players since.

Karol Świderski came through the Białystok set-up from 2014, moved on to PAOK and then to MLS, and remains the clearest example of what the pathway can deliver. Bartłomiej Wdowik took the longer route, climbing every rung of the youth structure before joining SC Braga.

On the touchline, Marek Wasiluk took charge between 2022 and 2024, inheriting a team whose standards had already been set by the title-winning years.

The rivalries the young players inherit are not their own. They belong to the senior club, and to a city that has spent decades measuring itself against the rest of Polish football from the eastern edge of the map — where the fixture list, not the geography, decides who matters.
