Kacper Trelowski is the graduate the coaching staff points to. A goalkeeper out of the same age-group system, he went through to the senior team, which for a club that spent decades outside the top flight is a route that barely existed a generation ago. Maciej Gajos came through here too, in a different era of the club.

Częstochowa has one other football club worth the name, and Skra provides the derby. At youth level the fixture carries less weight than the senior meeting, though the two academies recruit from the same schools and the same handful of pitches.

The colours are red and blue. The name Medaliki — the medallions — comes from the same place everything about this club comes from: a city of pilgrims, a steelworks, and a football team put together there in March 1921.
