Kolding IF

Kolding's senior team as it lines up today does not trace back to a single founding meeting but to a split. In 2011 Kolding FC merged with Vejle Boldklub to form Vejle Boldklub Kolding. The arrangement lasted two years. When it broke apart in 2013, Kolding IF pulled out and put together a new first team of its own.

They play in blue and white, known locally as De blå-hvide, at Autocentralen Park — for most of its history called Kolding Stadion.

Jan Mølby wore the shirt in 1981. Jørgen Lildballe stayed rather longer: across the 1950s and 60s he built up 386 appearances for the first team, still the club record.

The clearest mark the rebuilt side has left came in 2022–23, when it won the 2. Division. Games against Kolding Boldklub carry the weight of a local derby. The Superliga, Denmark's top flight, and the DBU Pokalen have so far stayed out of reach.
