Metalac GM

Dragoljub Vukadinović runs Metalac Grupa, which has stood behind the Gornji Milanovac club since it dropped the name Radnik for the factory's own in 1965.

The club merged with FK Autoeksport in 1995, inheriting that side's place in the league pyramid, and spent the following decade establishing itself in Serbia's lower divisions: the Serbian League Morava in 2001-02, the Serbian League West in 2006-07. Neither title mattered as much as what followed in 2008-09, when a fifth-place finish in the First League sent Metalac into the SuperLiga for the first time. The stay lasted three seasons before bottom place took them back down in 2011-12. The cycle has repeated since — a play-off win over Napredak Kruševac brought promotion in 2015, relegation followed in 2017, a fourth-place finish in the pandemic-shortened 2019-20 season earned another return, and 2022 sent them down again.

The local fixture against Takovo still draws a crowd without ever having earned itself a name. In the Serbian Cup, a quarter-final in 2021-22 remains as far as Metalac has gone.
