Handball at Neuhausen am Rheinfall grew inside the broader Pfadi Neuhausen sports association.

That identity got its clearest test in 2009/10, when coach Lothar Dumitru led the side to the Ostschweizer Cup. Dumitru stayed at Neuhausen until 2011 and died in 2025. Youth work has produced at least one player who went further: Levin Wanner moved through the club's ranks into Germany's Handball-Bundesliga with TBV Lemgo Lippe.

Twice the club has forced its way into the Swiss Cup's round of 32, in 2019/20 and again in 2025/26, drawing Nationalliga A opposition such as HSC Suhr Aarau.

Games are played at the Rhyfallhalle, which holds 800 people, a ground sized for a 1. Liga side rather than for cup nights against bigger names. Captain Jan Leu and goalkeeper Robin Jerger lead a squad still built around the 1.
