Orduspor 1967

The Yeni Ordu Stadyumu, also known as 19 Eylül Stadyumu, holds 16,768.

What plays there now is not quite that old club, though it wants to be taken for its heir. The side began in 1966 as Ordu Soyaspor. In 2019, then known as Yeni Mahalle 52 SK, it struck an alliance with the struggling original Orduspor — founded in 1967 and by then sliding toward collapse — absorbing its players and its identity while remaining, on paper, a separate company. Ordu Soyaspor eventually renamed itself Orduspor 1967, the number a direct reference to the older club's founding year rather than its own. The Turkish Football Federation has not approved the use of the original crest, so the team has gone through stretches playing without a badge on the shirt.

The colours, purple and white, give the club its everyday name, Mor-Beyazlılar, though "Fırtına" — the Storm, shared with the defunct Orduspor and other Black Sea sides — still gets used. Promotion came through the BAL play-off title in 2020–21, on top of two amateur league championships in the city in 2012–13 and 2019–20. Local derbies against 52 Orduspor.

What the club still lacks is what the name keeps borrowing: the original Orduspor's Turkish Cup, won in 1973, and the recognition — crest included — that would let Orduspor 1967 stop explaining who it used to be.
