Stadion Merpati holds no more than 13,000 people in Depok that has stayed the club's home through every twist in its ownership. It is where Serigala Margonda still play.

The club traces back to 1990, set up by Drs. H. Yuyun Wirasaputra to mark Depok's separation from Bogor as its own administrative city. That original Persikad ran until 2017, when it was sold off and relocated to Bogor, eventually turning into Sulut United. A supporter, Yogi Kurniawan, was not willing to let the name die with the sale, and in 2018 he founded a phoenix club, Persikad 1999, to keep it alive in Depok. The two lines met again on 4 June 2025, when Persikad 1999 merged with Sulut United and took back the name Persikad Depok, along with its Liga 2 licence.

Its youth system has one name attached to it: Andre Onana came through there.

Depok's derby is with Persikabo Bogor.
