Scandicci

Robur was the name they gave it in 1908, when Scandicci put together a football club under the flag of one of the countless Robur sides that towns across Italy raised in the early years of the century. The town's team went through two rebrandings since, becoming C.S. Scandicci 1908 in 2016 and then F.C. Scandicci 1908 in 2021, but the numeral kept the founding year stitched into the badge through both changes.

Progress came slowly and mostly within Tuscany's regional divisions. The Eccellenza Girone A title in 1993–94 opened the door to a higher tier, and the Coppa Italia Dilettanti Toscana followed in 1999–2000. The bigger step arrived in 2006–07, when Scandicci won the Serie D playoffs and reached that level for the first time in their history — and stayed there for sixteen straight seasons, before a playoff defeat sent them back down to Eccellenza in 2022–23. They answered that setback by winning Girone B in 2024–25 and returning to Serie D.

The FIGC lists the club among its "Scuola di Calcio Élite," recognition aimed at the youth sector rather than the first team. On the pitch, the derbies against Figline Valdarno and San Donato Tavarnelle carry the sharpest edge, with meetings against Follonica Gavorrano drawing the same "derby toscano" label from those who follow Tuscan football closely.
