What followed was not a straight line: in 1992 the handball section merged into VGA Saint-Maur, and in 2017 the whole omnisports club went the same way. The blue and white shirts gave way to VGA's yellow and blue for a quarter-century.

The women's side has one national title from that earlier era, won in 1970–71 against Paris Université Club, and a more recent one: the 2022–23 Championnat de France D2, which sent the team back up to the top flight for 2023–24. Angélique Spincer, once an international player herself, took over as head coach in 2017, and this November the Serbian goalkeeper Dejan Lukić, a veteran of PSG-Asnières, Ivry and Vénissieux, joined the staff to work specifically with the goalkeepers.

The men's section, for context, carried the Stella name through six French championships between 1968 and 1980 and a Coupe de France in 1978, reaching the Champions Cup quarter-finals the following year.
