Tru-juice FC walked into its first-ever Jamaica Premier League fixture on 13 September 2026 against Mount Pleasant Academy, having pulled Alex Marshall and Chevaughn Walsh out of Mount Pleasant FA's own championship-winning dressing room and taken left-back Gadail Irving on loan from Montego Bay United.
The club belongs to Trade Winds Citrus Limited, the company behind the Tru-juice drink. Managing Director Peter McConnell has overseen that climb from the early years. The breakthrough came in the 2025–26 Jamaica Football Championship, Tier II of the national structure, which Tru-juice won outright to earn its first promotion to the top flight. Damion Gordon took over as head coach that July.
Home games are played some distance from Linstead itself, at the Bramwell Clarke Sports Complex in Ewarton, a ground that holds around 2,000. Browns Town and Meadforest make up the rest of the parish's football landscape.
Off the pitch, the club has tied itself to the Linstead Public Hospital, running the annual Tru-Juice 5K Run/Walk in its support.
