Vambresia have no senior top-flight or cup record to point to; what the club competes for is youth silverware in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeship, and it keeps winning it, most recently the regional championship in 2021. That has been the pattern for three decades: a student sports club in Wąbrzeźno that develops players rather than chases a senior league table.

The honours board reads as a junior one. The Girls' Polish Cup went to Wąbrzeźno in 2010, and the Junior Młodszych national title followed in 2017 — both age-group competitions, both evidence of a production line rather than a first team pushing for promotion.

That line produced Karolina Kudłacz-Gloc, who started at the club at age ten and went on to captain Poland and win an Olympic medal. By 1995 she was already training there, and two years later the club sent a side to the Partille Cup in Sweden, the kind of tournament a youth section enters to test itself against foreign opposition rather than to collect points at home.

Home is a 42-by-24-metre sports hall on Wolności street, modest by the standards of clubs built around a senior league campaign but adequate for a programme whose currency is age-group titles. The parent organisation, Unia Wąbrzeźno, supplies the blue and white; Vambresia itself has stayed a feeder rather than a brand.

Without a senior league fixture list, Vambresia's rivalries play out at the same level as its trophies: against the other voivodeship clubs it meets on the way to a regional or national junior title, where beating a neighbouring town's youth side matters as much as the score ever will at senior level.
