The Polish Women's Handball Cup stands as the primary national knockout competition for women's handball in Poland. Organised by the Polish Handball Federation, the tournament traces its origins to the 1958/1959 season, when Ruch Chorzów claimed the inaugural title. It operates alongside the league system, where KGHM MKS Zagłębie Lubin and PGE MKS El-Volt Lublin share the record for most victories with 11 titles each.
The format underwent a significant structural shift beginning with the 2022/2023 season. The national phase starts with preliminary regional rounds before advancing to a central knockout stage that commences with the Round of 32. Unlike earlier iterations which featured two-legged ties, the modern competition relies on single-leg matches resolved by extra time and penalty throws if necessary. The climax of the campaign is a "Final Four" tournament held permanently at the Kalisz Arena. KGHM MKS Zagłębie Lubin currently holds the trophy following a 28-24 victory over PGE MKS FunFloor Lublin in May 2025.
Success in the cup provides a pathway to European club competitions, specifically the EHF European League. The competition sits distinct from the Polish Super Cup, which determines the outcome of a single match between the league champion and the cup winner. Recent reforms aim to elevate the profile of the tournament after periods of reduced prestige. Clubs such as Gniezno Women, Zaglebie Women, and Lubicz Women participate in the current standings, competing for regional advancement within the broader national structure.
