Waterhouse

Kingston's Civic Derby against Harbour View still draws the loyalties of Waterhouse's end of the city, and the club has spent the last decade circling the top of the Jamaica Premier League table without quite landing on it — seven runners-up finishes since 1999 against two titles, the most recent from 2005–06.

That championship carried weight beyond the standings. Coach Peter Cargill had died in a car crash in April 2005, and the squad dedicated the following season's title run to him. Marcel Gayle has returned to the touchline across multiple spells since.

Waterhouse did not start out as Waterhouse. Formed in 1968 as Harlem Kickers, the club became The Great West Football Club in 1972 before settling on its present name in 1979.

A run to the Concacaf League quarter-finals in 2019 was built partly around goalkeeper Akeem Chambers, and the club followed it with a runners-up finish in that year's Caribbean Club Championship. Three years later, a semi-final appearance in the Flow Concacaf Caribbean Club Championship came with a Fair Play Award rather than a trophy.

Left-back Ricardo Thomas gave the club five seasons of service before leaving in 2022, having made 106 appearances.
