Allianz Stadium opened under its first name, Juventus Stadium, on 8 September 2011, with a friendly against Nottingham Forest that finished 1-1 and Luca Toni scoring the first goal on the new pitch.
It carried that name until 1 July 2017, when the sponsorship changed and the stadium took on its current one.
The record crowd here dates to 2 December 2016, a Serie A meeting with Roma that drew 41,470 — close to the ground's full capacity of 41,689.
