Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence

The Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence is located in Miotso, just north of Prampram. The facility has never functioned as a traditional home ground for a club. Instead, it serves as the primary base for the national teams, where the Black Stars and the youth sides prepare for their campaigns.

The ground is defined by its construction timeline rather than a single opening ceremony. Built in 2004 through the FIFA Goal Project, it was officially handed over to the Ghana Football Association. That gap between completion and commissioning suggests a facility built for function rather than ceremony. The surface mix reflects this pragmatic approach: two AstroTurf pitches, one floodlit, sit alongside natural grass lawns.

A new stadium project, betPawa Park, is currently rising within the complex. Described as a standard FIFA pitch capable of hosting international matches, it includes a VIP stand. The spectator capacity for this specific structure remains unverified in available records.

The complex itself is a self-contained unit. A multipurpose hall sits at the centre of the operations. The location in the Ningo Prampram District places it away from the centre of Accra, but close enough to be accessible for national team duties. The facility has hosted youth tournaments, including the MTN Elite U19 final, but its primary role remains preparation.
