The Hall Omnisports H. Schmitz is a functional block of concrete in the Lallange district, but inside it has kept a rhythm since 1975. When the second hall arrived in 1991, they named the whole thing after Henri Schmitz. The recent extension, COHS3, is a modern addition.
It is a place of parquet rather than grass. That is the sound of Handball Esch and Basket Esch making their living.
The city owns it, keeps it running, and expects it to be there when the season starts. That is the arrangement.
