About the player
Aron Benjaminsen made his name in Norway before returning home. He left Skála ÍF's youth ranks for Kristiansund BK, and it was with the Norwegian club's reserve side that he scored five goals in 42 appearances.
Víkingur Gøta brought him back to the Faroe Islands, where he scored seven goals in 20 appearances. He then transferred to Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian.
A left-footed midfielder who can also play further forward, Benjaminsen is the younger brother of former Faroese international Fróði Benjaminsen.
