About the player
Amin Nabizada is a Watford forward who has represented two national teams before turning 19. In 2025 he won two caps for England at U18 level. He then switched to Afghanistan, and on 1 June 2026 he made his senior debut in a 1–0 win over the Maldives at the Diamond Jubilee International Football Tournament. He has three caps for Afghanistan so far and has yet to score for them.
His route into professional football went through two academies. Nabizada began at Brentford and stayed there until 2021, when he moved to Watford. Both moves were between youth set-ups, and no transfer fees were involved. He signed his first scholarship contract at Watford on 26 June 2023 and turned professional on 21 August 2024.
The first-team debut came in January 2025, a few months after that professional contract. He has since scored three goals for Watford in the EFL Championship as of the 2026–27 season.
Nabizada was born in Walsall, though some accounts give London. He plays as a forward.
With Afghanistan he is still looking for a first goal.
