About the player
Ayrton Cisneros came through the Toreros FC academy, Barcelona SC's feeder side, before earning a place in the Barcelona SC first team in 2019. A loan to Toreros interrupted that stretch between April and June before he returned to the senior squad for the rest of the year.
What followed was a run through Ecuador's second and third tiers on loan. LDU Portoviejo took him for the 2020 season, where he made 22 appearances, and CD Olmedo followed in 2021 with 24. He added seven more games for Nueve de Octubre in the first half of 2022 before his contract expired.
Delfín SC signed the free agent defender in July 2022, handing him the number 33 shirt. He left for Colombian side Búhos ULVR FC in February 2023, a spell that ran until July 2026, when Delfín brought him back to the club.
Cisneros has faced sides including Aucas, Barcelona SC and Baños Ciudad de Fuego during his time in Ecuadorian football.
