About the player
He stayed on for the following season, adding 25 more league appearances as Farul finished fifth.
Before that Romanian chapter, the left-footed defender had spent his early career in France, coming through at ASM Belfort before moves to Chamois Niortais and Stade Brestois 29, with a loan spell at Red Star FC along the way. From there his path turned east, taking in spells with FC Montana and FC Arda Kardzhali in Bulgaria before he arrived in Romania.
Kiki left Farul as a free agent in the summer of 2024 to join FCSB on a three-year contract. Playing time was limited to just 17 appearances across two seasons, without a goal or an assist to his name. Even so, he collected silverware, winning the Liga I title in 2024–25 and the Supercupa României in both 2024 and 2025. His exit from the club in July 2026 followed Benin's failure to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, with owner Gigi Becali deciding to release him given his lack of game time. He then signed for the newly promoted FC Voluntari.
Internationally, Kiki has been a fixture for Benin, earning more than 56 caps and representing the national side at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, where his consistency has made him a regular starter over the years.
