About the player
Florian Krebs's route to Sofia ran through Berlin, Dortmund and Finland. At Honka he won the Finnish League Cup in 2022 and scored in the final, against Inter Turku, the club he would later join.
He moved to Inter Turku in January 2024 and won the Liigacup there in 2024 and again in 2025. Inter also reached the Finnish Cup final in 2023 and 2024. Krebs made 55 league appearances for the club and scored eight goals. In summer 2025, CSKA 1948 offered €400,000 for him and Inter Turku turned the bid down. He signed for the Sofia club in January 2026 on a free transfer.
His football began in Berlin, at BFC Alemannia 1890, before he joined Hertha BSC in 2006. He was captain of Hertha's Under 19 side that won the Under 19 Bundesliga in 2017–18. He then made his senior debut with the reserve team, Hertha BSC II, and spent the second half of the 2019–20 season at Chemnitzer FC.
In July 2020 he joined Borussia Dortmund II. The team won the Regionalliga West in 2020–21, his first season there.
Krebs has not been capped by Germany at senior level.
