About the player
Gianmarco Di Biase came to Juventus's attention through a season of goals in Italy's lower divisions. In 2022–23 he made 36 senior appearances for Pistoiese and scored 12 times. Juventus signed him on 31 January 2023 for a reported €350,000.
He came through the youth ranks at Empoli before moving to Pistoiese. He is right-footed and can play on the wing, as a second striker or as a centre-forward.
At Juventus he was registered with the club and its Next Gen side, but he spent most of his time there out on loan. Pistoiese had him back, and in February 2025 he moved to Pergolettese in Serie C. In August 2025 he joined Bra, also in Serie C, on loan. That spell produced 3 goals in 15 appearances.
His move to England came on 10 July 2026, when Crawley Town signed him from Juventus on a two-year contract with an option for a third. It was a permanent purchase rather than another loan, and the fee was not widely reported.
